Description

Protect your valuables against moisture and corrosion.
The Hornady Security Canister Dehumidifier is filled with desiccant crystals designed to absorb moisture from your safe, closet, tool chest, or other enclosed area.
As the desiccant crystals fill with moisture they change to a pink color.
The Dehumidifier can be recharged in a standard oven.

Operation:
• Verify the desiccant crystals are dry (blue color). If not, follow the drying instructions in the next section.
• Place the dehumidifier on the top shelf for optimal performance.
• Periodically check the dehumidifier and recharge when the desiccant crystals turn pink.

Drying Instructions:
• When the desiccant crystals become saturated, they turn pink and the dehumidifier needs to be recharged.
• Remove the dehumidifier from the shelf and place into a warm oven (no more than 148° Celcius).
• The heat from the oven will dry out the crystals in about 2 to 4 hours. The desiccant crystals will turn blue when dry.
